受付窓口や展示会の案内係用のロボット
東芝・・・・多関節ロボットの動作アルゴリズムを開発。
芝浦工業大学、湘南工科大学・・・・センサーで動作を指示する技術
エーラボ、大阪大学・・・・ロボットの人間らしい容姿や表情づくり
東芝は今後も開発を進め、センサー技術や音声合成技術などを組み合わせ、２０２０年にも高齢者や認知症患者の話し相手、遠隔カウンセラー、手話・見守りロボットでの活用を視野に入れている。
東芝、大阪大学、芝浦工業大学、湘南工科大学、エーラボは、米子市で私に対する人体実験の成果が充分得られないまま、既に大阪大学石黒浩によって造られているロボットを、自社開発ロボットと偽って東芝名で発表。
